Born in Essex, Ian became aware of photography as a child, fascinated with the mechanical box that captured moments on a roll of film. It was after Ian's school life, that his two greatest passions Photography and Art began to sculpture his life.
Spending his early life drawing and painting while Digital cameras made it's way into the world, Ian made the transition in Photography mid 2000 and channelled his passion into portraiture and scenic photography.
Through photography he captures the images of beauty and ugliness that transfix's his eyes, together with thought provoking scenes and emotions, which are becoming increasingly diverse, yet remaining sensitive.
Ian has exhibited in London over the last two years showing his work in Soho Square and Marble Arch. He is currently a 2012 nominee for the London Fringe Festival Photographer of the year award.
